It is one of the area’s largest traditional elementary schools, located near several other Farmington-area schools. The school ranks 123rd of 563 Utah elementary schools for 2025–2026, placing it at the 78th percentile with a four-star rating. That remains a strong statewide position, although it is below the school’s 95th-percentile results in 2021–2022 and 2022–2023. Nearby Windridge School, Stewart School, and Farmington School currently rank higher, while Canyon Creek is ahead of Eagle Bay School and Centerville School.

Mathematics is Canyon Creek’s clearest academic strength. In grades 3–6, math proficiency exceeded both district and state results, ranging from 54.2% in fifth grade to 70.3% in third grade.
