Syracuse School is a large public elementary school in Syracuse, Utah, serving prekindergarten through sixth grade and enrolling 865 students. It is part of the Davis District, which ranks at the 51st percentile statewide. In 2025–2026, the school ranked 276th of 563 Utah elementary schools, placing it near the middle statewide and earning three stars. Its standing has been fairly stable, improving from the 44th percentile in 2021–2022 to the 51st percentile today.

Academic results are mixed by grade and subject. Science is the school’s strongest area overall, led by sixth-grade science proficiency of 65.2%, which exceeded both district and state results. Fourth-grade mathematics was another bright spot at 58.7%, and third-grade English language arts reached 53.0%, slightly above the district. The clearest concern is mathematics, particularly sixth grade, where proficiency rose to 30.9% in 2025–2026 but remained below the district’s 41.5%. Lakeside School and Cook School also ranked higher, while West Point School and Antelope School ranked lower. The most promising improvement strategy is to preserve attendance gains while focusing on sixth-grade mathematics and strengthening practices in the school’s higher-performing grade levels.
