Second Baptist School

My 1st grader’s experience at this school was deeply disheartening due to persistent bullying and the admin’s failure to address it. She faced repeated verbal and physical harassment from multiple classmates, including mockery of her ethnicity, which created an unsafe and unwelcoming environment. Despite raising these concerns with the administration and referencing the school’s own anti-bullying policies, we saw no meaningful action—no apologies facilitated, no promised interventions, and dismissive responses that downplayed the behavior. The lack of accountability left my child scared to attend school, leading us to withdraw. While the campus may appear appealing, the school’s inability to foster a safe, inclusive environment for a kid was a huge failure. Parents should thoroughly investigate its bullying policies, how they’re enforced, and whether the culture truly supports all students. A stronger commitment to compassion and proactive conflict resolution is desperately needed.
