Open Quote RCCS is a small, accredited private school that provides extensive academic support. The teachers get to know the students extremely well and provide a high degree of individualized attention. The school provides a safe, nurturing environment and students are generally very welcoming of others. RCCS does not participate in the high-stress STAAR testing program. While alternate tests are administered, they are used to assess strengths and weaknesses and target assistance – not to hold students back. Many of the academic programs are self-paced, and allow students to advance based on their individual abilities. The school offers extensive extracurricular activities and is a member of the Texas Christian Athletic League for sport and fine art programs. RCCS also offers before and after school programs for working parents. The registration process can seem a bit intimidating; however, there is a very high acceptance rate. Don’t let this discourage you from enrolling. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
