Open Quote Love this school. Teachers are equipped, engaged and encouraging. Acedemic expectations are high while children also have fun in the learning environment. My children and kinder and 2nd grade and both read well above their grade level. Both also went to pre-K at this school. Solid Christian education, uncompromising standards, encouraging and supportive environment. Close Quote

Open Quote Wonderful education in a Christ Centered environment. We Have been affiliated with this school over 12 years and currently have a junior and a 3rd grader attending. They both have always tested well above their grade level. Not only are they receiving a solid academic background, but also growing spiritually and morally every day. I would not have them anywhere else! Close Quote

Open Quote We are a military family and have attended several schools. What a huge win for us to have found Castle Hills! It's rare to find a Christian school where the spiritual life of the students is challenged to grow as well as the academic life, but both can be found here. I'm so impressed with the teaching staff's knowledge of subject matter as well as their heart for Christ. We would love to be stationed here long enough for all 3 kids to graduate! They will be well-prepared for college and life because of CH! Close Quote

Open Quote With its college-prep curriculum, a Christ-centered worldview, and award-winning athletics and arts programs, Castle Hills First Baptist School has been a huge blessing to our family. My elementary and middle school students have grown in their faith through weekly chapels and daily Bible classes, they have been academically challenged by loving, caring faculty, and they are motivated to serve our local community through many service opportunities and mission's trips alongside their peers. Castle Hills has approximately 525 students, ranging in age from preschool through 12th grade -- making it the perfect place for my kids to grow up. Although we haven't been here since preschool (some of their peers have), we are SO happy to have finally found this gem of a school in the heart of northern San Antonio. I highly recommend Castle Hills FB School! Close Quote

Open Quote Coming from public education, I have been enormously blessed to teach at the high school level here. The administrative team strives to make our jobs as simple and student-focused as they need to be. The students are wonderfully adept at thinking critically and encourage one another to excel in their studies. Since moving here, my wife and I have been pampered by the support of the parents and their families through gifts of their time, encouragement, and assistance in helping their students become successful. Open Quote Our family has been affiliated with CHFBS since 1992. Our older 3 children went to Kindergarten through 12th grade here and we presently have an 8th grader here. Castle Hills staff and administration seek to put the relationship between Jesus Christ and each student in top priority. There is a warm and "family" type atmosphere that is apparent when you enter the campus. The teachers and academics here well prepare a student for college upon graduation. Close Quote

Open Quote I have had my children at Castle Hills for 9 years and could not be more pleased. The competent staff, friendly families, and Christ-centered education has made a huge impact on my children and our family. They have a wonderful fine arts program including drama, choir, band, and art and a strong athletic program. Last year 100% of the graduates were college bound and 80% received scholarships. This is a great school with an amazing faculty. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
