As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The principle, Dr. Truncale, and her staffs are very caring for the students and school pride. They make sure that every student has the resource and attention for their development to adulthood. My son recently had surgery where he would miss school for one month. Cheri Cox took the time to work with us to find the best solution for my son to get the education and care without being left behind from his classmates. I was impressed how the teacher was willing to come to our home after school to assist with his school work, but later we had come up a better solution where my son was able to attend school part-time without missing his lessons and participate and develop a relationship with his classmates. Not only they have a great program at school time. They also have other activities to challenge students such as academic competition for students. Students could volunteer to compete against other schools in academic contests. After my son participated to a math competition named "Number Sense", Cheri Cox elementary provided a teacher after school once a week to teach my son and the team members to prepare for the contest. The competition consists of 4 students from each school in the district. There were 6 schools in our district. Cheri Cox took first, forth and fifth place from the Number Sense math contest this year on 12/6/2011. My son was in the fifth. :) Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
