Open Quote As a student I can personally say this school was indeed the best school ever. The teachers had heart and wanted to help students. I left the school for better oppurtunities but the schools I went to had no love for their student. Every school even though a better area had nothing compared to this school. I will cherish the great memories here and hope many other students will begin to do the same. Close Quote

Open Quote We are a family that has been active in Club Hill for the past 9 years. We put our oldest daughter in the school when we first moved into the neighborhood because we knew people that worked there and it felt like the thing to do. It turns out that those people no longer work there and we have seen teachers, administrators and students come & go, but we have stayed, even enrolling another child along the way. Obviously with each change in personnel it is to be expected that one would have reservation with regards to the "changing of the guard." We have never been disappointed with the direction of the school. It is friendly, warm & welcoming. My children love their teachers and the staff. In response to the review left regarding the lack of love, I have this to say. If you have never worked in a school it might be easy to judge how harsh or "non-loving" it may seem at times, but having have worked in a school environment I can tell you that there is a lot of love that goes into the work day for the teachers and staff. They certainly didn't get in the field of education for the money. Club Hill has many loving, caring & concerned employees. I leave my child in good hands each school day & I find great comfort in that. Close Quote

Open Quote You can have all the college degrees that would legally qualify you to be a teacher or a principle or even a counselor but without LOVE and COMPASSION for the well being of little children, as a whole, in mind and spirit, being sure that every child is comfortable in their surroundings, to feel safe with their teachers as they would feel safe in their homes and feel welcomed and not a daily burden, without these special qualities that makes a teacher a truly good teacher, your college degrees are irrelevant. This school lacks love! This school lacks love and compassion and the heart that is needed to create well rounded little human beings. This school lacks 'positive' in their word usage and actions toward these kids. This school does NOT practice non-threatening tactics. All verbal usage is negative, threatening and intimidating, almost legal bullying toward the little ones who have no choice 'by law' but to put up with it day in and day out all year long. Meanwhile, while the children learn to read and write, which is what these professionals are 'legally' getting paid for, the children's self esteem and confidence is being diminished and rapidly. These professionals work by 'the book' alone, and have no inclination or interest that every child has their own learning style and their own personal personalities. They are treated the same, like robots and must conform to this loveless style education or be considered defiant and rebellious. Close Quote
