Open Quote We transferred our two boys to Crownover Middle School last year and we couldn't be more pleased! They have SO much to offer and the administration, teachers, and staff are wonderful! The band program is outstanding, academic UIL is a priority, and we especially love the fact that if your child is ready to move on, they are tested and moved up to an "enhanced" class or even up to the next grade level in that particular subject. There is no such thing as "keeping students on the same level" or "only teaching the curriculum." If enrichment is needed, it is provided. We love that tennis counts as a PE credit and academic/social clubs are plentiful! They offer online registration, (occasional) flipped classrooms, and most importantly...teachers who INSPIRE! About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
