After years of being a top-tier school, Stribling has experienced a sudden and significant decline. In the 2023-2024 school year, it was the highest-ranked school among its seven Burleson ISD peers, sitting in the 83rd percentile. By the 2025-2026 school year, it dropped to the 56th percentile, its lowest rank in a decade. This decline is most pronounced in 3rd-grade math, where proficiency fell from 56.58% (well above state and district averages) to 39.51% (now below both). The school's ability to support its low socio-economic status students also reversed dramatically, falling from the 90th percentile statewide to the 27th percentile. In contrast, the nearby Richard Bransom Elementary has maintained high, stable performance, outperforming Stribling in every tested subject and grade level in 2025-2026.
