Centennial High School is a comprehensive public high school in Franklin, Tennessee, serving 1,354 students in grades 9–12 as part of Williamson County Schools, one of the top-rated districts in the state. The school earns a solid 4-star rating and ranks 59th out of 400 Tennessee high schools for the 2025–26 school year, placing it in the 85th percentile statewide. That is comfortably above average for Tennessee, but it clearly trails nearly every traditional high school in its local area, where Ravenwood High School, Franklin High School, and Brentwood High School rank in the 94th to 98th percentile.

Academically, Centennial exceeds Tennessee state averages in most subjects but trails its own district by meaningful margins. Algebra I is the biggest concern: only 29.1% of students scored proficient, which is below the state average of 32.3% and less than half the rate at nearby Franklin High School (59.4%), Independence High School (56.6%), and Ravenwood High School (56.8%).
