Battle Creek Middle School is a grades 5–8 school in Spring Hill, TN, serving roughly 750 students as part of Maury County Schools. In 2025–2026, the school ranked in the 54th percentile of Tennessee middle schools with a 3-star rating — a step back after rising from the 38th percentile in 2020–2021 to the 67th–69th percentile range in the intervening years. Battle Creek outperforms its district in science, social studies, and math, but its English language arts results trail both the district and state. The most concerning pattern is the ELA decline by grade: 5th graders score near the state average, but by 8th grade only about 19 percent are proficient, versus roughly 32 percent statewide.
