Claiborne High School is a public school in New Tazewell, Tennessee, serving 613 students in grades 9–12 as part of Claiborne County Schools, a district ranked 115th out of 141 Tennessee districts. The school's clearest strength is getting students to graduation: its 94.4% graduation rate exceeds the state's 90.5%, and its 2.1% dropout rate is well below the state's 6.7%. However, academic proficiency tells a different story: Claiborne's overall state ranking has slipped from the 42nd percentile in 2023–24 to the 24th percentile in 2025–26.
