William Blount High School is a large comprehensive public high school in Maryville, Tennessee, serving roughly 1,478 students in grades 9–12 as part of Blount County Schools. The school currently ranks 185th out of 400 Tennessee high schools, placing it in the 54th percentile with a 3-star rating — a notable decline from the 70th percentile it held just a few years ago.

There are bright spots worth knowing about. U.S. History is a clear academic strength: 68.4% of students are proficient, well above the state average of 42.4% and better than nearby Heritage High School, Hardin Valley Academy, West High School, and Lenoir City High School.
