Summary:

ZIP code 02865 has two high schools serving grades 9–12: Lincoln Senior High School and Davies Career-Technical High School. Both are above state results on most 2025–26 tests, but the comparison depends on subject and test: both schools’ grade-11 science and English results exceed state figures, as do their grade-10 math results. Davies’ grade-11 SAT math is the exception, at 18% proficient compared with 24% statewide. The main takeaway is that neither school leads across the board, so families should compare results in the subjects that matter most to them.

Davies stands out in science, with 64% proficient compared with Lincoln’s 46%, an 18-point gap; both are above the state’s 31%. Davies also leads grade-10 English, 80% to 74%. Lincoln leads grade-11 SAT English, 68% to 64%, and math on both tests: 38% to 18% on the SAT and 49% to 36% on the PSAT10. Both schools’ grade-10 math results exceed the state’s 29%. In 2024–25, graduation rates were 91% at each school, compared with 86% statewide; dropout rates were 8% at Lincoln and 4% at Davies, versus 7% statewide.

Recent results show different trends rather than a consistent shift in one direction. From 2024–25 to 2025–26, Lincoln’s SAT math proficiency fell 11 points, while its PSAT10 math rose 5 points; Davies’ SAT math was essentially unchanged, while its PSAT10 math rose 8 points. Science moved in opposite directions: down 4 points at Lincoln and up 19 at Davies. SchoolDigger’s latest statewide ranking places Lincoln 12th of 58 schools and Davies 16th; over three years, Lincoln’s percentile fell from 85 to 79, while Davies’ rose from 59 to 72. Davies also has a lower student-teacher ratio (11.8 versus 14.7), higher reported spending per student ($25,809 versus $18,465), and a higher free/reduced-lunch rate (59% versus 34%); these are differences between the schools, not explanations for their results.
