West Warwick High School serves 1,081 students in grades 9–12 in the West Warwick community of Rhode Island. Its latest graduation rate is a bright spot: 90%, above the state’s 86% and the West Warwick district’s 83%. The clearest academic concern is mathematics: proficiency is below the state in both tested grades, at 13% on 11th-grade SAT math versus 24% statewide and 20% on 10th-grade PSAT math versus 29% statewide.

West Warwick’s strongest state-relative test result is 10th-grade ELA: 55% proficiency, close to the state’s 56% and equal to the district. It ranks fourth among the eight nearby schools on that test. Science is a relative strength against the district—23% versus 16%—but remains below the state’s 31% and five of the seven nearby schools.
