Elementary Schools in Middletown

The Middletown, Rhode Island school district is home to three elementary schools: Forest Avenue School, Aquidneck School, and Gaudet Learning Academy. These schools serve students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade and provide a range of educational opportunities within the Middletown community.

Among the three schools, Aquidneck School stands out as the top performer. Aquidneck School also outperformed the Middletown district and the state of Rhode Island in terms of student proficiency on the RICAS exams, with 67.1% of 3rd-grade students proficient or better in English Language Arts and 67.6% proficient or better in Mathematics.

In contrast, Gaudet Learning Academy generally had lower proficiency rates than the Middletown district and the state, with the exception of 4th-grade English Language Arts.
