Open Quote The most engaged, proactive and passionate teaching and support staff lead by an amazing principal that knows all of the students and parents by name and always makes the time. As a bonus, the school and staff are surrounded by a great community of people. We cannot say enough positive things about HES. Close Quote

Open Quote We recently moved to the area and have started our kids at Hillendale Elementary and could not be happier. This school is a wonderful community of staff, teachers, students and parents. And I feel like so many people have really gone the extra mile to make us feel welcome and ensure that our kids made a smooth transition. Our kids are already doing so much better here than their prior school, particularly one child who is getting specialized attention that is really helping bridge the challenges she was having in her old school. The principal is wonderful and so welcoming and everyone who works there either staff or teachers really is exceptional. Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
