Open Quote There is a lot of good things to say about this school district. Two of my children have graduated and gone on to succeed in College. My son will be a freshmen next year. Unionville teaches the children to be their own advocates in life, which really makes the difference. They have great teachers, challenging classes and state of the art equipment. Raising three children in this district I would say the one thing that was most refreshing is the children really seem to like and support each other, with little or no bullying. The only peer pressure is the pressure to do well academically and get into a good college, and yes, that does exist. The only drawback is lack of diversity, both ethnically and also financially. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
