Open Quote Supervision is an issue in these classrooms. The school has taken a drastic fall in the state rankings. This has to be due to the administration... I am sure the excuse will be budget cuts. If this were true then all schools would be having issues. Saegertown was at one time a school you could be proud to have your children attend, but now it is a school we are looking to get out of. The lack of care and supervision is dissapointing. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
