Summary

Cambridge Springs Junior/Senior High School is a public high school serving grades 7-12 in the Penncrest School District, with 359 students located in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania. The school's academic performance has been mixed, with strengths in English Language Arts but weaknesses in Math compared to state and district averages.

While Cambridge Springs maintains a relatively high 4-year graduation rate and low dropout rate, its statewide ranking has fluctuated significantly over the years, from a high of 84 out of 580 Pennsylvania high schools (4 stars) to a low of 439 out of 681 (2 stars). This volatility suggests the school may be facing challenges in maintaining consistent academic excellence across all subject areas. The school's high percentage of economically disadvantaged students, ranging from 43.82% to 53.2% in recent years, may be a contributing factor to its academic performance.

Compared to nearby schools, Cambridge Springs generally performs below Saegertown Junior/Senior High School and on par with Maplewood Junior/Senior High School in academic metrics. However, when compared to higher-performing schools outside the district, such as Fairview High School and Fort LeBoeuf Senior High School, Cambridge Springs lags significantly in academic achievement and statewide rankings.

Open Quote There are very few teachers that are any good. They are all about themselves or the athletic department. Never seen so many unfair teachers.
The teachers bully the kids worse then the kids bully each other.
Would not recommend this school to anyone for their teenage kids.
This school has really gone down hill!!!!! Close Quote
