Hiteon Elementary School is a K–5 school of 486 students in the Beaverton School District 48J in Beaverton, Oregon, located on SW Brockman Road in a suburban area west of Portland. In 2025–26 it ranked 129th of 709 Oregon elementary schools — the 82nd percentile, 4 stars — and it clears both its district and the state in all three tested subjects: English language arts 58.9%, mathematics 53.7% and science 43.8%, roughly 15 to 21 points above the state in every subject.

Compared with nearby schools, Hiteon produces results that are stronger than its resources alone would suggest. Its free/reduced-lunch rate is among the highest in its comparison group, yet it ranks 2nd of 10 Beaverton-area schools in overall performance — ahead of higher-spending neighbors such as Sexton Mountain Elementary School and Cooper Mountain Elementary School, and far ahead of Greenway Elementary School and Vose Elementary School, which serve similar populations and spend more. Only Scholls Heights Elementary School posts stronger results. Mathematics is the standout: Hiteon's math proficiency sits just 5.2 points below its reading score, and its district math advantage is second only to Scholls Heights among same-district peers. From 2014–15 through 2018–19 Hiteon ranked in the 89th–92nd percentile every year; after a rebound to the 94th percentile in 2022–23, it has settled at 85th, 85th and now 82nd — a gentle drift rather than a decline. Third grade is the only level where Hiteon trails its district in both reading and math, while fifth grade is exceptional, 12.7 points above district in math, though these are different cohorts. Subgroup rankings also swing widely year to year at a school this size, and the reported free/reduced-lunch rate jumped from 31% to 68% in a single year — more consistent with a change in how meal eligibility is counted than a real shift. Overall, Hiteon remains a solidly high-performing neighborhood school with above-district outcomes in every subject, below-district absenteeism and middle-of-the-road spending.
