Westview High School is a 9–12 comprehensive high school serving about 2,423 students — one of the largest in Oregon — on the far-west side of Portland in the Beaverton School District 48J.

Westview ranks 65th of 271 Oregon high schools in 2025–26, putting it in the state's top quartile with a 4-star rating, and it clears the state bar in every headline measure. Eleventh-grade proficiency beats the state in English language arts (52.4% vs. 46.0%), math (32.0% vs. 22.9%), and especially science (45.8% vs. 33.8%) — science is its standout subject, where it even tops Sunset High School (39.7%). Math is the relative soft spot: at district par, but roughly 15 points behind Sunset. The 91.1% graduation rate is above the district's 88.9% and the state's 83.0%, and has stayed 5–10 points above the state for five straight years. The teachers tend to be nice but the counselors are not at all interested in being helpful to students and are rarely available. Also the administrators tend to act in a condescending way towards the students. Close Quote
