Open Quote Practically no technology applied to learning environment although that is improving. IT department (one man whom we affectionately call Fred) is being far surpassed by many jr. high students and is agreeably the least liked human in the school district. Bond measure fixing most problems did not pass. Spanish is the only foreign language and the teacher is an English major. Mold galore! Lack of proper heating system. Bells frequently incorrect. Confusing bell schedule. Great drama program with virtually no funding. Great jazz band and symphonic band. Many drug abuse issues being caught and many more slipping by unnoticed. I have learned more from google in the last six years than from any class in school. The government/history instructor and the vice principal are more concerned with sports than academics. There is no proper school counselor, although the principal fills the seat and excels at neither of his positions. As a senior I feel robbed of an education and hope that what knowledge and life experiences I have outsourced due to sheer will and determination will serve me well enough to escape this town.
