Open Quote My 3 kids attended PCH and succeed academically in spite of, not because of, the school system.
Their priorities are athletics, Future Farmers, and so on, not academics. The low ACT averages, number of students having to take remedial courses, etc speaks for itself.
Yet they continue to build new gyms, new football fields, new scoreboards, new locker rooms, and I believe a soon to be new high school building.

Their best academically minded teacher quit after his son graduated. He told my sons that he looked at the groups of students coming up from grade and middle school and didn't see anything to get excited about academically. Close Quote
