Summary:

The Lomega school district in Oklahoma consists of two schools - Lomega Elementary School and Lomega High School. While both schools are performing well, the elementary school stands out as a particularly strong performer, consistently ranking among the top elementary schools in the state.

Lomega Elementary School is ranked 2nd out of 646 elementary schools in Oklahoma and has maintained a 5-star rating from SchoolDigger over the past decade. The school boasts impressive test scores, with 47-58% of students proficient or better in English Language Arts, Math, and Science - significantly above the state averages. Notably, 7th and 8th grade students at the elementary school have particularly high ELA proficiency rates of 72% and 94% respectively, far outpacing the state.

In contrast, while Lomega High School is still performing well, ranking 48th out of 463 high schools in Oklahoma, it does not stand out as strongly as the elementary school. The high school has a lower 14% math proficiency rate for 11th graders, compared to the state average of 18%, and a higher chronic absenteeism rate of 19% compared to the elementary school. Additionally, the high school's spending per student, at $23,357, is nearly double that of the elementary school, but does not appear to translate to significantly stronger academic performance.
