Summary:
Beaver Elementary School serves PK–8 and reports 176 students; Beaver High School serves grades 9–12 and reports 74, for 250 students across the two schools in Beaver. The clearest overall finding is that the high school’s results vary sharply by subject: in 2025–2026, ELA I proficiency was 48% versus 26% statewide and U.S. History was 58% versus 41%, while math was 14% versus 25% and science was 13% versus 30%.
Beaver High School stands out in ELA and history, but its math and science results are the lowest side of its academic profile. Its 11th-grade results show the same pattern: ELA I was 48% versus 36% statewide and history was 58% versus 41%, while math was 14% versus 17% and science was 13% versus 21%. Beaver Elementary School was above the state in 2025–2026 ELA I, 33% versus 26%, and math, 27% versus 25%, but below it in science, 26% versus 30%. The schools serve different grade spans, so their all-grades results are not a fair direct comparison.
Results improved in math at both schools, while science weakened: elementary math rose from 19% to 27% between 2024–2025 and 2025–2026, and high-school math rose from 9% to 14%; science fell from 31% to 26% at Elementary and from 19% to 13% at High. High’s ELA I also climbed from 25% to 48%, and history from 47% to 58%. SchoolDigger’s high-school ranking rose from the 12th percentile in 2023–2024 to the 71st in 2025–2026, a 59-percentile-point increase. Attendance and graduation are positive context: High’s chronic absenteeism was 3% versus 16% statewide, and its 2024–2025 graduation rate was 91% versus 78%. In 2024–2025, student-teacher ratios were 13.8 at Elementary and 10.9 at High; free/reduced lunch eligible shares were 70% and 69%, respectively.
