IDEA Greater Cincinnati Inc is a K–10 alternative charter school at 2700 Glenway Ave on Cincinnati's west side, serving 1,017 students — the largest enrollment of any school in its comparison group — and it operates as its own district, IDEA Greater Cincinnati Inc. It is the only school in its peer group with a multi-year attendance trend, reported for four consecutive years.

The best news here is attendance. Chronic absenteeism dropped from 67.4% in 2024-25 to 53.9% in 2025-26 — a 13.5-point decline and the lowest level in four years, a meaningful improvement rather than noise. Several nearby campuses remain higher, including Mount Auburn Preparatory Academy at 83.5%, Pleasant Hill Middle School at 58.9%, and John J. Gilligan Digital Academy at 55.7%. The caution is class size: the student-teacher ratio roughly doubled in two years, from 14.9 to 24.8 — the second-highest in the group — alongside that 1,017-student enrollment.

Achievement remains below Ohio's averages on all 19 reported measures, at about 23.5% proficient versus roughly 60.5% statewide. Reading is the relative strength: 31.5% in grades 3–8 (about half the state rate) and gradually improving. Math is weaker at 16.8% (about 29% of the state rate), with middle-grade math the most acute, persistent problem (Math 6 at 4.2%, Math 8 at 12.3%). Biology is the single deepest deficit at 15.6%, last among all seven schools reporting it. Notably, IDEA outperforms its most comparable peer, John J. Gilligan Digital Academy, on the majority of tested subjects. No graduation rate is published, since the school ends at grade 10, and free/reduced-price lunch data is available only for 2022-23, at 31.03%.
