Otsego Elementary School in Tontogany, OH serves 788 students in grades PK–5 and is the only elementary building in the small rural Otsego Local district, making it the largest school in its comparison group by a wide margin. Statewide, it ranks 510th of 1,560 Ohio elementary schools (67th percentile, 3 stars) in 2025–26 — the highest position it has held in the ten years of rank history available.

Otsego's students score above the state average in all seven tested areas — third, fourth and fifth grade math and English language arts, plus fifth grade science — by margins of roughly 6 to 13 points. Against nearby schools, Otsego lands solidly in the middle: clearly ahead of Crim and Kenwood, roughly level with or ahead of Maumee Intermediate, and behind the Perrysburg Exempted Village schools (Toth, Frank, Fort Meigs) and the Anthony Wayne Local schools (Monclova, Whitehouse, Waterville), which rank at the 85th–99th percentiles.
