Open Quote This school district allows the parents to choose the teachers. Many teachers work in teams, one teaching math and science, the other teaching social studies and language. This means that the teachers are more specialized in their subjects. I like that all the kids in the district are going to the same school by 4th grade, and the bussing allows that students aren't on the bus with grades much higher or lower than their own grade. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
