Summary

Western Elementary School is a small rural school in Latham, in the Pike County area of Ohio, serving about 170 students in grades 3–6 as one of two buildings in the Western Local district, which ranks 599th of 773 Ohio districts (23rd percentile, 1 star). The school itself ranks 1,138th of 1,560 schools in 2025–26 — 27th percentile, 1 star. It improved from the 21st percentile in 2018–19 to a peak of 39th in 2021–22, then slipped backward four straight years to 27th.
