As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote The faculty and administrators of this school do not care about your students well being. As a honor student and as a lgbtqia+ student, the amount of bullying here is staggering. Students of the lgbtqia+ minority are shouted slurs and shoved into lockers as staff watch. The counselors allow this to happen to matter what. If a student take things in there own hands, they are punished. The teachers help bullying as they watch the student and say nothing. As a student on superintendents advisory the group does nothing but trouble. Adding the phone rule doesn’t quote “help stop bullying” quoted by the principal Ms Gover. This makes the bullying go underground and promotes is after hour do the school will not have to deal with it. The staff are lacking as they are constantly gone and substitutes are constantly in the building. The yearbook staff lacks as the faculty members that runs it didn’t finished the book and rushed it, furthermore messing up previous work done by students. The only thing I’d say is good in this school is the orchestra teachers. They are wonderful teaches that prioritize the students well being. It’s sad that a orchestra teacher has to work more than a teacher and do things that the faculty should already do. The nurses here are also lacking, with them getting switched out constantly due to poor schedules. The cafeteria is constantly understaffed and many students aren’t fully even fed due to lack of food. Half of the food is lacking despite what the menu says. Bathrooms are limited to 3 trips per quarter per class. I’ve seen multiple students having to use other students books just for basic human functions. If I was you I would just go to Piqua or Mason as they are better schools. (Stating as a Northmont student.) Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
