Tippecanoe Middle School in Tipp City, Ohio, serves 564 students in grades 6–8 in the Tipp City Exempted Village district. In 2025–26 it ranked 136th of 1,046 Ohio middle schools — the 87th percentile, 4 stars — and across the past decade it has never fallen below the 81st percentile or below 4 stars. Among nearby schools, only Miami East Junior High School (96th percentile) ranks higher; Tippecanoe outranks Troy Junior High School (80th), Northmont Middle School (70th), Bethel Middle School (64th) and Northridge Middle School (14th).

Scores are well above state averages in eight of nine tested areas: 6th grade math 82.2% proficient, 7th grade math 78.6%, 8th grade science 79.5%, and Algebra I 98.8% and Geometry 96.7%, both at or near 100% for four straight years against state rates of 42–62%. Two things bear watching. Eighth grade math fell to 53.6% proficient — only 1.6 points above the state — after three years in the mid-to-high 60s, even as 6th and 7th grade math improved. Because the school's top math students take Algebra I and Geometry, that drop may partly reflect who remains in the on-grade test pool, but it is worth asking about. Special education subgroup performance has slipped from the 90th to the 74th percentile over three years, and the free/reduced lunch rate has risen from 11.9% to 17.73%. Nearby Troy Junior High School is also improving quickly on the measures where Tippecanoe is weakest.
