Westview Elementary School is a K–4 school in Avon Lake, Ohio, a Lorain County community west of Cleveland, serving 277 students as the smallest of the three elementaries in the Avon Lake City School District. That district is one of Ohio's strongest, ranking 53rd of 773 (93rd percentile), and Westview itself ranked 185th of 1,560 Ohio elementary schools in 2025-2026 (88th percentile) — a top-decile school statewide that has climbed from a 2023-24 dip to its best mark in seven years.

On the 2025-2026 Ohio State Tests, 85.2% of third graders were proficient in math and 83.0% in reading, while fourth graders posted 94.4% in math and 75.0% in reading — roughly 13 to 27 points above state averages in all four measures, though slightly behind the district's average in both reading grades.
