It serves 546 students in grades PK through 8 — one of the few buildings in its area to carry students all the way through middle school — and is part of Symmes Valley Local.

Symmes Valley has climbed steadily for a decade, moving from 2 stars and the 41st percentile in 2015–16 to 4 stars and the 76th percentile in 2025–26, ranking 368th of 1,560 Ohio schools.
