The school recently posted its best results in the past decade: in 2025–2026 it ranked 257th of 795 Ohio high schools — 68th percentile with 3 stars — a big jump from 2024–2025, when it sat at 39th percentile with 2 stars. That places it in the top local tier alongside Shawnee High School (67th percentile), and well ahead of same-district Northeastern Middle/High School (44th percentile) and Global Impact STEM Academy (32nd percentile).

High school End-of-Course exams are a clear strength. Biology proficiency is 90.9%, American History 84.0%, Algebra I 80.8%, and English II 76.3% — all above district and state averages, with Biology tying the top local score. The graduation rate is 98.0%, near the top locally and far ahead of Springfield High School (87.0%). These results are notable given that Kenton Ridge serves a relatively high-poverty population compared with several higher-ranked neighbors.
