Hopewell Junior School is a grades 7–8 middle school at 8200 Cox Road in West Chester, Ohio, serving 540 students as the smallest of the four junior highs in the Lakota Local district — roughly a third the size of Mason Middle School three miles away.

Statewide, Hopewell ranks 188 of 1,046 schools — the 82nd percentile, 4 stars — above its own district's 78th percentile. That is a full recovery to its pre-pandemic 2018–19 level, though still below its mid-2010s peak of 95th percentile. Its standout is advanced math: 95.8% of Algebra I and 100% of Geometry test-takers scored proficient, far above district and state figures, though those end-of-course exams are taken by a small accelerated group and don't reflect the whole school. On grade-level tests, Hopewell beats Ohio by 12 to 20 points in every subject but trails its own district in four of five.
