Pleasant Valley Elementary School is a K–4 school in Parma, Ohio, serving 971 students in Parma City schools — by a wide margin the largest elementary in its local comparison group, roughly two to three times the size of nearby Ridge-Brook Elementary School (341 students), Green Valley Elementary School (371), Dentzler Elementary School (435), and Thoreau Park Elementary School (483). The school's central story is that it outperforms its own district: Parma City sits at the 40th percentile of Ohio districts, while Pleasant Valley ranks in the 57th percentile of 1,560 elementary schools with 3 stars.
