Miamisburg High School is a public school in Miamisburg, Ohio, a suburban community south of Dayton, serving grades 9–12 with about 1,437 students as part of the Miamisburg City district. It is a mid-to-large high school locally — bigger than Valley View, Oakwood, Franklin, Carlisle, West Carrollton, Dunbar, and Jefferson, but smaller than Centerville, Kettering Fairmont, and Springboro. In 2025–26 it ranked 422nd of 795 Ohio high schools (47th percentile, 2 stars), down from the 58th percentile and 3 stars the year before. The district ranked 402nd of 773.

On 2025–26 state End-of-Course tests, Miamisburg scored above the state in American Government (75.7% vs. 71.6%), American History (80.6% vs. 73.2%), Biology (72.6% vs. 67.0%), and English II (67.2% vs. 62.7%). Math is the clear weak spot: Geometry proficiency was 38.5% and Algebra I 56.6%, both below the state (43.3% and 61.6%), with Algebra I also under the district's 62.2%. Algebra I has trailed state and district levels in several recent years. Against nearby schools, Miamisburg's math results lag Valley View, Carlisle, Kettering Fairmont, Franklin, Oakwood, Springboro, and Centerville, though they top West Carrollton, Jefferson, and Dunbar.

Graduation improved to 94.4% in 2025–26 from 90.6% two years earlier, but still trails Oakwood and Springboro (98.8%), Centerville and Carlisle (97.4%), Valley View (96.7%), and Kettering Fairmont and Franklin (96.4%). Chronic absenteeism is 30.4%, well above the district's 21.4% and more than double Springboro's 9.4% and Oakwood's 13.3%; only West Carrollton, Jefferson, and Dunbar are higher locally.
