Academically, Lincoln Park sits near the bottom of the state: 8th percentile with zero stars in 2025–26, down from about the 25th percentile a decade ago — a steady decline rather than a single bad year. In 2025–26, every reported grade and subject result trailed the state by 26–58 points, and only fifth-grade math (33.3%) edged above the district figure.
