Open Quote Worst decision ever made sending my child to biomed. The school cares more about its public image than the students under their care.

Every day was often a different color resulting in a different class schedule. One of many unnecessary stressors when work level is already very demanding. Constant changes made at the expense of the students well being to "see what happens" with them.

Freshman engineering was eventually removed as most failed the course. The two years of online Rosetta stone (spanish or mandarin) done on own time was eventually dropped. No one could actually speak or read either language.. All for show. No actual daily class with a language teacher.

No real gym class, which was only in senoir year anyway. Individual Art class that was done in junior year was removed.

The new biomed school building was supposed to be high tech, but there were not even enough outlets for the students to plug in required computers and ipads daily as needed.

So many students were unable to achieve the A or B grades for their classes, so the staff finally allowed a C grade if the students and parents signed papers accepting the low grade. It was that or 2 weeks of summer school to try and raise the grade before accepting a C.

Students were shamed during group meetings for not excelling in the classes.

Students were eventually forced to walk outside, if temp was atleast 22 F, to the college lunch area due to complaints by neomed college that the biomed students were loud.

Many students were so stressed. Crying in the halls. Depression. Anxiety. Tallk of suicide. Some students did attempt suicide. One honor role student did die. Students were told by a female neomed college campus police officer,
" Suicide happens. Get used to it."

Biomed staff brought in a grief counselor for 4 hours for just one day, but this was only after complaints that nothing was done for the students after the suicide.

Biomed quickly moved on from that suicide.Scrubbed like all the other poor performing students removed from the school that make biomed look bad.

There are better schools to choose from that provide more educational options, and encourage instead of shame when students struggle. The high rating is as fake as the sales pitch they give to prospective families. Close Quote
