Open Quote First off, I worked here for a few months last year before COVID happened. If you want to feel under appreciated, undervalued, forgotten, exiled, back stabbed, bullied and lied to then this is the perfect place to work at. Those with connections to the principal, administration or board members have it good here, smooth sailing for them.
The supervisor is supposed to be in charge of several departments, this includes the custodial and cafeteria staff, but she’s a joke, she’s unqualified to hold her position. It was to my understanding that a supervisor is supposed to communicate with their staff and to know how to delegate tasks to their employees but this supervisor didn’t, zero communication, last minute changes, arrogant and inconsiderate to her employees and should be fired for a lot of stuff that comes out of her mouth (when able to understand her) and then denying it to the fullest!.
During the pandemic, we were not supplied with proper PPE, there was no structure of ANY kind as to how we should proceed with disinfecting or support.
Both the supervisor and those around her are well protected because of their connections, staff is fired if they dare speak up or cause a scene or reveal anything about this school, everyone is replaceable in their eyes.
Employees are giving other staff members work load, even if they are completely unqualify, you have no say!
I’m glad I left this place, it was clear to me that they’re only interested in the money they receive from the state for filling every seat with a student that's it!. They don’t care about their staff, their students, the parents or the community they claim to want to help!. It’s them first and everyone else second.
I only feel bad for the kids and their parents, in the hands of this racist school. Handing out jobs like candy to people who are under qualified too. So if you want to work in a place where there is no advancement for you, unless you have connections and want to waste your life living at the bottom of a barrel, get hired for one job just to end up doing several other peoples jobs and yours, enjoy this place. There are a hand full of good people here (hope for their sakes they left) but watch your back very closely. Also are the kids being made to leave positive reviews for this school for a grade? This school should be permanently close to avoid getting sued. Close Quote

Open Quote The kids here are the rudest, most disgracefully behaved students I have ever seen, Some teachers and all administrators let kids run the school as disciplinary measures are non-existent. Most adults give you a stony ice cold glare if you dare to say hello to them. Miserable tone in the building. Worst of all, the administration only seems to care about teachers spending enormous amounts of time writing the standards in the classroom and having students memorizing them, even though the kids have absolutely no idea what the standards mean. VERY HIGH TEACHER TURNOVER. Run don't walk away. Close Quote
