As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Do not bring you child here. He will be abused and overlooked specially if they’re not black. This kids are always bilittling other kids, hiring those not willing to fight back, fighting in groups, cursing, not following directions and breaking all the rules. It’s scary. You child/ren won’t be safe unless he’s a bully too. The dean, security the teachers, they all turn a blind eye to the situation. They are heartless. I guess they deal with this situation so often they have become numbed. Check out your other options, this school is not the way to go. Kids are so behind in all of their classes it’s sad. All the teachers are over worked and the classes are overcrowded. You could ask the teacher about you son and his well being and they can’t even give you an answer because they don’t give them any individual time. Close Quote

Open Quote yesterday, my child was sent home withought a coat or hat. when I called I was transferred to the assistant principal, Ms. Jackson, who left me on hold for 15 minutes, prior to even asking my name, or the reason I was calling, and never returned to the phone. I visited the school this morning to speak to the principal who was very rude, uncaring and uncomforting. She offered no apology and failed to acknowlege the deplorable conditions of the bathroom at 8am this morning, which is the reason my child did not take her coat into the restroom, and subsequently was able to leave the school with no coat. Ms. Little, when i asked abour transferring my child to a better school, simply advised that I make sure to return the school books, because she paid for them. the school now accomodates up to 8th grade, even though there are kids as young as age 4 attending. the school's report card is terrible. I have had not a single positive experience at this school over the past 5 years. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
