Arbor View's graduation rates have been relatively stable, ranging from 81.4% to 94.3% over the past few years, but the school's chronic absenteeism rate has been a concern, ranging from 16.7% to 31.3% in recent years.

Compared to nearby schools, Arbor View High School generally outperforms its counterparts, such as Cheyenne High School and Centennial High School, in academic metrics. However, the nearby Northeast Career and Technical Academy High School and Northwest Career-Technical Academy High School, both magnet schools, significantly outperform Arbor View in academic measures, suggesting that specialized programs may be a key factor in student success. Additionally, Arbor View's performance for military-connected students is relatively strong, ranking 2nd out of 3 Nevada high schools in the 2020-2021 school year.

Open Quote There was an incident few days ago at arbor view where several white students made racist threats toward black students. The kids were arrested but the school has not done anything more about the incident. I’ve heard from many parents and students that the school does nothing about racism. You can see few trucks parked school parking lot proudly flying the confederate flag. I’m thinking about moving my daughter out of this school next year. Close Quote

Open Quote My kids have done remarkably well. The teachers put the student's need first. I am moving soon and will only move where we are zoned for this school. Close Quote
