Webb Del E Middle School is a grades 6–8 school in Henderson, Nevada, serving 1,684 students as part of the Clark County School District — the largest middle school in its immediate local comparison group, ahead of Miller Bob Middle School (1,522), White Thurman Academy of the Arts Middle School (1,501), and Mannion Jack & Terry Middle School (1,463). By state standards it is a solidly high performer: 4 stars, 80th percentile, ranked 29th of 148 Nevada middle schools in 2025-2026.

Academically, Webb scores well above average in all three tested subjects — 48.7% proficiency in math, 60.8% in reading, and 53.1% in science, versus district rates of 33.8%, 43.3%, and 23.5%. Science is the standout: Webb's rate is 2.3 times the district's and roughly double the state's, and it actually exceeds the school's own math proficiency, which is unusual. Locally, Webb ranks third among its Clark County peers, behind Miller Bob and essentially level with Mannion and White Thurman. Its math proficiency is more than four times that of Cortney Francis H Junior High School (11.2%) and Cannon Helen C Junior High School (10.4%), both just a few miles away.

Attendance is a bright spot: 17.0% of students were chronically absent in 2025-2026, better than both district (27.0%) and state (25.5%), and down 9.2 points over four years. Webb also does a lot with relatively little — its $11,032 per student is the lowest among Clark County schools in this group, while Burkholder Lyal Academy of Environmental Science ($15,761) and Cortney ($14,866) spend far more and post lower math proficiency. Two things to watch: Webb's student-teacher ratio of 24.7 is the second-highest in the group, and 8th-grade scores drop noticeably from 6th grade. Coral Academy Windmill, a charter, posts much higher scores but serves a smaller, different population and isn't a like-for-like comparison. Webb's rank has eased from 2nd statewide a decade ago to a stable ~80th percentile today.

My son is a 6th grader, it is an excellent school. All students have a laptop, they have a very well equipped musical class and a talented professor. Regular homework is graded frequently and there is a lot of communication with the school. Close Quote

They lack on the focus on engagement and community support. They don't seek to understand the culture, history, and expectations of the entire community. They're definitely are not proactive outreach to all stake holders, particularly those underrepresented in public engagement, and don't enhance relationships with outside groups especially parents of their students. Lastly, they really need to develop a clear focus on openness, transparency in all communications systems, and protocols used to communicate both internally and externally. Close Quote

If I had to do all over again I wouldn't have placed my daughter in this school. I'm amazed on how there's a lack of communication at this school. I don't like the way a certain dean speaks to kids. My other child will not be returning to this school. I would prefer to pay to place her in a private school then this school again. Close Quote

Pulled my son out of this school. The lack of communication between teachers and parents is appalling. Just try and have a teacher or counselor return a phone call within two days...ends up being like two weeks as the norm, and by then, if there was an issue to address, they don't care because it happened "so long ago"...and that is a direct quote.
