Vanderburg John Elementary School has consistently been one of the top-performing elementary schools in Nevada, ranking within the top 20 schools in the state for the past several years. Its students consistently outperform the Clark County and Nevada state averages in SBAC (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium) test scores for Mathematics, Reading, and Science across all grade levels. Open Quote John C Vanderburg ES is an amazing school. The principal is so hands on with the staff and students and parents. She has high standard for education and this is reflected in how high the test scores are. The teachers and staff are amazing! We will be going into our third year at Vanderburg and my child has had two great teachers so far. The facility is always clean and the halls are so artistic and fun not to mention the biosphere inside the school. I would highly recommend this elementary school as it is a great environment and encourages creativity. Close Quote
