Bendorf Patricia A Elementary School faces significant challenges, particularly in terms of chronic absenteeism and academic performance. The school has consistently high chronic absenteeism rates, ranging from 23.7% to 31.3% over the past few years, which is significantly higher than the district and state averages. Academically, the school's SBAC test scores are generally lower than the district and state averages across all grade levels and subject areas. However, some nearby schools, such as Piggott Academy Elementary School and Hayes Keith C & Karen W Elementary School, significantly outperform Bendorf Patricia A Elementary School and the district/state averages. The school's high free and reduced lunch rate, which is 100%, suggests that socioeconomic factors may be playing a significant role in the school's outcomes, highlighting the need for targeted interventions and support to address the challenges faced by high-poverty student populations.

Open Quote If you have a choice or are able, please do not send your child to Bendorf, use zone variance if possible. The administration at Bendorf will lie, if you disagree with them. The Principal will not help on anything. My children attend there and I am doing everything in my power to have them removed from this school. My children have attended other elementary schools without a problem until we arrived here, after 16 years of Clark county schools, I could honestly say I would never recommend anyone to enroll their children here. The teachers were fantastic, they need to replace the administration. Close Quote
