Wengert Cyril Elementary School is a PK–5 neighborhood campus at 1905 Atlantic St. in Las Vegas, serving 513 students in the Clark County School District, where 100% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. Its recent history is one of collapse and partial recovery: the school ranked in the 55th percentile statewide in 2017–18, fell to the 4th percentile in 2020–21, and has since climbed back to the 36th percentile with 2 stars — still roughly 19 percentile points below its pre-pandemic peak. Per-student spending rose 36% between 2020–21 and 2023–24, and the student–teacher ratio tightened from 18.1 to 15.5.
