Summary

Parkview School is an elementary school located in Milltown, New Jersey, serving grades PK-3 with a total enrollment of 370 students. As part of the Milltown School District, which is ranked 336 out of 609 districts in the state, Parkview School stands out for its strong academic performance, particularly in Mathematics.

Parkview School's 3rd-grade proficiency rates in English Language Arts (48.2%) and Mathematics (60.9%) consistently exceed the state averages, indicating the school's academic strength. The school's performance in Mathematics is particularly noteworthy, with proficiency rates consistently higher than the state and district averages. Additionally, Parkview School's Hispanic students and Special Education students have ranked highly compared to their peers in the state, with some years ranking in the top 20% and 40% of New Jersey elementary schools, respectively. However, the school's performance for Low Socioeconomic Status (SES) students and Students with Disabilities is relatively lower, with rankings in the bottom half of New Jersey elementary schools.

Compared to nearby schools, Parkview School's academic performance, especially in Mathematics, is generally stronger than the schools in the North Brunswick district, but schools like Central Elementary and Warnsdorfer Elementary in the East Brunswick district outperform Parkview School in both ELA and Mathematics proficiency rates. However, Parkview School's relatively low percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch suggests a more affluent student population compared to the nearby schools in North Brunswick, which may contribute to the academic performance gap.

Open Quote Good luck trying to deal with the administration. Could not tell us all the paperwork needed to start school. Called us the day before school starts at closing time that they need more information. What a joke?! Close Quote
