The school’s strongest academic areas are reading and science. In 2025–26, 80% of students were proficient in reading, compared with 55% statewide, and 70% were proficient in science, compared with 38% statewide. Its science result was higher than every listed nearby school, including Portsmouth High School and Exeter High School. Reading performance was also close to the area’s strongest schools, Oyster River High School and Portsmouth, both at 82%.
