Northwood School District

Northwood School District has one school, Northwood Elementary School, serving students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade in Northwood, New Hampshire. With 413 students, it functions as the community’s elementary and middle-grade campus, and there are no separately listed middle or high schools in the district.

Northwood Elementary School is a mid-performing, improving school with several academic strengths. In 2025–2026, overall proficiency was 48% in math, 53% in reading, and 43% in science. Parents considering the area should understand that the school offers the convenience of one PK–8 campus, strong upper-elementary results, and recent improvement, while middle-grade instruction and continued reading growth are the clearest areas to watch.
